Inés Garland has been awarded with the Ala Delta Children Book Award (Edelvives) for Lilo, her new children book .
The story is told by Lilo, a perspicacious and warmhearted dog, who finds out that the abrupt changes of mood of his owners granddaughter are related with the anonymous threats she frequently receives on her mobile phone. With the help of Oliver Twist, a clever stray dog, he tries to find out, who is behind the sadness and fear that overwhelm the girl.
Already in 2014 the Inés Garland had been awarded with the prestigious Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis for her novel Piedra papel o tijera.
