Val is a young witch who experiences her first love with Zak, a classmate and rock fan. However, she soon has to learn that she and her entire family will lose their special gift forever if she kisses Zak. And even worse: The whole family would have to leave the community of witches and wizards. At the same time when Val discovers her dilemma, it is her family’s turn to organize the community’s annual celebration, and of course everybody is busy making preparations.
A novel about dreams and loyalty, about being different and the sound of rock music, that became a Latin-American classic and has been a great success for the last 15 years.
